Building the software businesses run on
Ahmed founded PluginZ Solutions in 2018 and leads the company’s technology and business strategy across custom software, ERP, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and managed IT. His experience combines hands-on technology delivery with building and managing solutions for companies across Egypt and the GCC.
The company started in Cairo in 2018 with a simple idea: businesses should not have to choose between enterprise-grade technology and focusing on what they do best. From that base, PluginZ has grown into a single accountable technology partner that builds custom software and ERP systems, web and mobile applications and secure Microsoft Azure environments, and then runs the cybersecurity and managed IT behind them. That work has ranged from a hardened Azure infrastructure for a Saudi fintech to a ground-up ERP for a company’s day-to-day operations, a connected mobility platform, an enterprise hospital network, and the office IT and software licensing behind the Egypt operations of multinational groups.
Ahmed stays close to the technical decisions that shape each engagement. On a new project that usually means working with the client on solution architecture and scope, cloud and infrastructure design, security requirements and the long-term plan for the system once it is live. The goal is a platform that still makes sense several years on: built around the client’s real processes, sized for growth and supportable without depending on any one person.
Security is treated as a delivery discipline rather than a service line. In August 2026, PluginZ Solutions was certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for its information security management system, covering the full scope of its services. The certification reflects how the company already worked: governed access to client systems, documented risk assessment, written policies that are audited by an external body, and a rehearsed incident response.
PluginZ delivers in Arabic and English from its Cairo base, working with clients in Egypt and across the GCC, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The same experience shaped the company’s own product, Ops360, a business operations platform that combines IT operations, accounting, CRM, HR and AI-assisted sales in one secure workspace and is in production today.
